  • Allan Frias

    Born and raised in San Francisco, California Allan Frias has been a Bay Area pioneer, mentor, choreographer and instructor in the dance community for 20 plus years. As a top 12 finalist on the Inaugural season of “So You Think You Can Dance”, Allan has trained many professional dancers that have one on to work for such artists as Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Beyonce, and RuPaul…just to name a few.

    For 17 seasons Allan directed the NBAs' Golden State Warriors Jr Jam Squad. The squad consisted of 20 kids from the age of 8-14 where he choreographed, staged, mentored and coached them throughout the season preparing them for halftime performances. He’s worked at several dance studios establishing youth programs from the ground up and prepared youth for a professional career in the performing arts field.

    Allan prides himself on mentoring youth in developing their dance style and abilities. He also provides a safe haven for adults and seniors while hosting weekly dance classes to build community, and to share the importance of creative expression.

  • Anna Sarao

    Anna Sarao is a trailblazing dancer, choreographer, and community leader who has significantly shaped the dance landscape in Southern California and beyond. With over two decades of experience, Anna is best known as the founder of Body Rock Dance Competition, a pioneering event that has become a global phenomenon in the dance community. She has expanded the event to Asia and will also have a qualifier in Latin America in March 2025.

    Anna’s passion for dance began at a young age, and she began her career as the Artistic Director for Culture Shock SD and LA. She danced with, trained, mentored and learned from various crews from the Bay Area to San Diego. And her work extends beyond performance; she is deeply committed to fostering community, mentoring the next generation of dancers, and promoting artistic expression as a powerful tool for mental health.

    She currently works as a mental health therapist for a private practice and continues to provide career guidance to young dancers through her life coaching sessions called “Guide•Dance”.

  • Kyle Hanagami

    Kyle Hanagami, an award-winning choreographer and creative director, bridges the gap between digital and mainstream entertainment. Most recently, he has worked on this season of Emily In Paris as well as films like the Academy Award-nominated Over The Moon from Netflix, Red, White, & Royal Blue from Amazon Studios and Paramount’s Mean Girls. Within the music industry, Kyle has worked with internationally renowned artists, including BLACKPINK, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and many more. In the digital space, Kyle has built an online empire with over 8 million followers across channels, and has partnered with global brands such as Google, Nike, Netflix, Disney, and Calvin Klein.

  • Shaun Evaristo

    Choreographer, Creative Director and Entrepreneur, Shaun Evaristo is a leader for generations of dance. Passionate about culture, contribution, and empowering people, he has helped pave the way for the future wave of dancers to come. Focusing on quality and experience, it bleeds into his dance, business and choreography.

    He is mostly known for his unique style of choreography and creating the company Movement Lifestyle, an urban dance brand and world renown dance studio. “mL” is a community based and globally connected company that focuses on being a platform for dancers.  From producing events to establishing creative dance spaces, they strive to provide a great experience for the professional dancer to the movement enthusiast. It's a labor of love and also his way of giving back to dance what dance has given to him.

    Currently, he continues to build his company while spreading his love for dance teaching around the world. Looking to bridge and build in other forms of art, who knows where he’ll extend his way of moving to next.

  • Sorah Yang

    Sorah Yang is a Choreographer, Educator, Movement Coach, and Entrepreneur who was born and raised in the Bay Area, and currently resides in LA. Her style is described as highly emotive and dynamic, fusing her unique combination of world-class training for 20 years in multiple genres of dance. Her work has led to digital creative partnerships with brands like Hyundai and Adobe, as well as an international commercial campaign with Nike. She has taught workshops in 30 countries worldwide and over 30 colleges around the US. She has choreographed and movement coached for major K-pop and global artists, including New Jeans, Monsta X, and Katseye. She frequently choreographs for NBA and NFL dance teams (including the Golden State Warriors!), award-winning dance studios and competitive teams, and has been recognized by the World of Dance Awards as a two-time nominee for Female Choreographer of the Year. She’s passionate about developing various types of programs to enrich and empower future and current generations of dance, including a Business-dance course called “The Artful Balance of Business and Dance,” a choreography development program, and movement training programs for all levels.

Nico O’Connor

Originating from the Bay Area, Nico O’Connor is a creative artist.  A choreographer, an instructor, a movement coach, entertainer and host.  With over 20 years of community and industry experience, Nico's ability to dance and learn syncopated movement has always come natural to him.  Specializing in Jazz Funk and Hip Hop, his training also includes Ballet Folklorico, Salsa, Jazz, Contemporary, and Ballet.  He’s alumni to the world famous Culture Shock Oakland dance troupe, and Team Breed OCLA.  In theatre productions, Nico was featured as Chino in “West Side Story”, Fleance in African American Shakespeare’s Company, “The Macbeth Project”, and in the ensemble casts of “The Wizard of Oz”, and “Cinderella”.  As a working  professional in Los Angeles, Nico has danced in ads for: Wal-Mart/Latin Grammys, Sean T's Rockin Body Fitness, and MC hammer's reality series.  He has danced for Kat Graham, Prima J, AB Soto, former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, Bad Bunny on the Grammys, and for Pink at the American Music Awards.  As an assistant choreographer he’s worked closely with Chonique Sneed & Lisette Bustamonte on MTV's Americas Best Dance Crew, Britney Spears Femme Fetale World Tour & Korean pop girl group, Girls Generation. In addition, he’s assisted Candace Brown on Poland’s “You Can Dance”.  His lead choreography credits include actors Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle for Showtime’s “House of Lies” promo, and China’s vocal competition show “Heroes of Remix”.  For the stage, Nico has choreographed for John Duff, Brian Justin Crum, Todrick Hall, Katya Zamolodchikova, Latin Artist Noelia, and “Ms. Viet Nam Continents” beauty pageants.  Now an internationally respected instructor, Nico is currently on faculty at Millennium Dance Complex and signed to Go2Talent Agency in Los Angeles.  He continues to teach at various gyms, schools, workshops, community events and kids programs.  Passionate about educating youth on the principles of dance and promoting active lifestyles.  Nico's passion for dance  and the arts has allowed him to follow his dreams and achieve many goals, now able to share his experience and knowledge with others who share the same passion.
